Class struggle of indegenous people of Nepal

Mr Dambar Chemjong, a paper presenter concluded his presentation that Marxist perspective is relevent on behalf of anti-exploitation upon indigenous. He claimed that ruling class Brahmin and Chettri is charged for exploitation upon indigenous people. Indigenous people do not have ownership of land. Neither they have right in production and reproduction of the land. They labour but the production right goes to the elites, upper class. He defined that indigenous group is working class. Cultural discrimination is the inherent structure of Nepali society. P. N. Shah ruled over after annexation and never paid attention to the people who were annexed.His links of indigenous struggle with the principle of Marxism can be in the spirit of indigenous spirit. However, he himself is doubtful whether Marxism benefits and sustains cultural identity of indigenous society or merely avails physical achievements. However, the Marxist's philosophical ideology has been adopted in many countries for the struggle of indigenous too. He further says that Marxists have the philosophical explanation suitable for indigenous community. The basic principle of Marxism rests on the production, production value, and alienation etc. Do Lumbus, one of the indegenous group give value to the land alike Marxists? How can be the land used by them transformed into scintific productive asset? These questions can be relevent from Chaudhari in Banke to Magar of Magarat pradesh ( the term coined by Maoists). The motive of both Marxism and indigenous group meet at to create classless society in addition indigenous society aims at preserving their language, cultural identity.Indigenous struggle was put in question. His discussion seems relevent at the brisk of declaring the Terai an autonomous region, the region with self-determination. Not only Terai but also all other regions should be made autonomous.Mr Dumber spends much time scolding at P.N Shah, the founder of modern Nepal, should take the discredit of beginning indigenous exploitation and indigenous made laborers without receiving the production benefit and ownership land. History can be commented but cannot be changed. Time is most powerful. Scolding at him is fruitless. But the shortcomings of indigenous group also should be analyzed. In class sturggle should not there be any indigenous were rulers.However, it can be concluded that the gist or crux of discussion Marxist theory is helpful in the struggle of indigenous people of Nepal.The struggle should make their demands engraved in upcoming constition to be made by constient assembly with golden letters. Lets be hopeful the spirit of constitution will create eqality in the society and special previleges to the indegenous people.

Public did not like the imposition in ruling so King Gyanendra is dethroned finally. People's consent should be the guidelines for ruling. Today transport professionals should be able to earn public acceptance. Mere demanding and making money more money heralds the unavoidable rejection by the people like king Gyanendra received. No opportunity to run business at all. They have to let be free market so that they can prove that they are the best service providers in this sector. The consumers should be asked what they tell should be researched. Only quality service at minimum cost can satisfy travelers. Do public enjoy travelling in a suffocating tight standing space as if things are packed? Have they guaranteed travel services? Do the travelers are assured by accident insurance? Do drivers have taken responsibility for the mishaps on the road? These are few haunting questions in the mind of consumers.Public acceptance can make any type of business. Successful. Syndication also needs to be accepted. The service to the public should be given in hand of those who willingly serve the best is another function to be done by state. The government has to make this sector free and fair. There arises a giant question to the presence of government whether it exists. Have they ever stepped forward to enjoy the most acceptances from public? Public is lost in the maze of Nepotism, favoritism, corruption, delaying action, making burden of futile and junk process almost inbuilt in public service.Public relation officers in mask are at a corner but without the knowledge of any thing happening instead of their job. They are not unlike items in a showcase. .Every service and products require a good public relation for long term acceptance, success, and sustenance.Recently strike called by medical doctors sans the law and order. Medical people should be more responsible for they should not stop the treatment at any cost. The health service is not like the transportation closure. The medical professionals also should build up the image that their job might be more responsible to public. They should have conducted several programs for the poor and those under privileged practically. They are organized. Have they any model benevolent jobs done till today except money making attempt and sometimes strikes when there is the trouble arises during treatment? Can't they get an excuse if the man died with their human mistake? Doctor's intention to make happen so should be seriously condemned. Does not have the medical association collect fund for the compensation in such mistakes? Do they ever venture to help to those who have appealed for the help for treatment really who cannot afford? Who helps for those deprived ones? Socially such unwanted and mishaps must be regretted by medical professional and associations. If any doctors are found wrong by fair investigation must be punished he must be made not to do any job for a year or monetary punishment or the case should be filed in courts. Such a serious health personnel should be aware about they would be losing the public acceptance. It is worthy for medical professionals and Council of Medical association should be free from the prevalent trade union culture.Various organizations have basic necessity of Public relation practices for the achievement of public acceptance, success, sustenance. Public relation has to be ridden from the mind of conventional press agent image. The public relation is as important as the management of the institutions. It leads our society more civilized and prosperous. The public relation assists to the success of every organization because it keeps the balance between meeting the goal of the organization and offering it in the service of the public.

Intelligent pageant

Intelligent pageantOnce upon a time, there were two neighboring kings. They were gravely hostile in the matter competition of buying sturdier horses, making more magnificent palaces. They also competed in the matter of marrying the most intelligent girl to outdo the other. However, in this they wanted not to be the first but wanted to marry at last so that finding more intelligent girl will make winner. The first king married and second king was waiting to marry. A girl but not from royal birth was brought to royal palace. He decided to marry her. The second king sent invitation to the first king. The first king and queen came a few days early. First king and queen wanted to test the intelligence of the girl- would be queen. They asked three questions. Firstly, there were two mares one was dam and another filly, grazing in the lawn and to be identified which seemed no difference at all. Secondly there ware two snakes in a basket she had to find which one was male and female. Thirdly, she was given a slender wooden pole which was perfectly even and smooth with no knots and to identify which was the root part.The queen solved the questions in this way: Firstly, she gave grass to both mares and found that the mother one pushed gently the best grass for the younger. The mothers always push the best grass over to the foal. Secondly, she made a bed of cotton in the corner of basket the one which slithered to the soft cotton was female. Female likes warmth and comfort. Thirdly, she dipped the pole into the pond to float on the lake and found that root part sank a little while other remained nearer the surface.This story strikes my mind at the time there is hue and cry about the beauty contest. The Miss Nepal we want like the second queen. Such beauty merely skinny does not make the represent the one, which we like to have. All that glitters is not gold.We Nepali society have undergone paradigm shift e.i. we are in New Nepal. Commercial commodity and beauty revelation through nudity must be as passed away as noding and shaking head at the sorrows of people by ex-king. We can only sympathize to those trends like ex Miss Nepal had done at orphan center and old age homes to make the similar shows as ex king did. The woman to be choosing to be like sisters Nirmala, Sapana Pradhan, Durga pokhrel, Angurbaba Joshi, Parijat, Yogmaya etc. should be selected as Miss Nepal. Inner excellence and knowledge is praiseworthy. We want intelligent pageant or inner beauty contest. The beauty can never be sponsored.The beauty is yet to be defined for clarifying the purpose of beauty pageant contest practically as well as vested interest should be avoided. The extravagance in cosmetic cannot coat a girl with intelligence.However lets be hopeful that the beauty pageant will take up seriously linked with the themes concerning women, gender inequality, trafficking, internally displaced Maoist victim and impunity.By RUDRA PANGENI
